The Brentwood Bulldogs began in 1993 when Greg Sirko and Ken Perkins got together to coach a team of 13 year old all stars from Brentwood.  The beginning was inauspicious, as the team finished third in a seven team district tournament.  However, this group of players became the nucleus of the Brentwood Indians.  The Indians lasted two years before merging with another Nashville team to form the Shoetiques 16 year old team in 1996.  Most of the Shoetiques players (and a good number of Indians) went on to play in college, and two are playing professionally.  Greg spent 1997-98 with Shoetiques, while Ken started the first Bulldog team in 1998, taking some of the old Brentwood Indians to form the Worth Bulldogs.  Seven Bulldogs played collegiately and one is playing professionally.  

Bulldogs Generation 2 began in 1999 with fifteen 15-16 year olds.  Four of the 16 year olds played three years as Bulldogs and one of the 15s played four.  This group was augmented with new players in 2000 and graduated in 2001-02.  Out of this group, twenty-one received grants-in-aid to play baseball in college, including one NCAA Division One freshman all-America in 2001.

Generation 3 began in 2003 with a new group of 15 year olds from three of the premier 2002 14U teams in Middle Tennessee.  Four of the original 2003 Bulldogs and five 2 and 3 year Bulldogs completed their final season in 2006.  All fifteen members of the 2006 team signed letters of intent to play baseball in college.  Two were drafted and two were selected NCAA Freshman All-America in 2007.

Generation 4 began in 2007 with a 16U and 18U team.  All five seniors on the 18U team have already signed.  Members of both teams have already made significant contributions to their high school teams.  These groups have a chance to match the success of Generation 3.
