Matthew raised his average more than 100 points for the Bulldogs in 2008, hitting .394 and finishing at or near the top in nearly all offensive categories. This included 63 hits, 50 runs, 13 doubles and 4 home runs as the leadoff hitter. He was also outstanding defensively in the outfield and filled in at three infield positions. Matthew is a two year starter at Franklin High School. He is also an honor student, carrying a 4.1 GPA in honors and AP courses. He lives in Franklin with twin brother Michael, a star on the FHS basketball team, and parents Ginger and Walter. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
