Trey had another good season for the Bulldogs this summer, hitting .266 and playing outstanding defense. He was slowed by a broken hand he incurred towards the end of the high school season. He completed his third year as a starter on the Christ Presbyterian Academy varsity team in 2008, playing left field and center field for the Lions. He hit .412 and had 27 steals, which is a CPA single season record and had a .686 slugging percentage with two home runs. He has gone two years without making an error for the Lions. He was selected to the Tennessee Baseball Report Super Soph team in 2007, and is CPA's representative for the High School Heisman. Trey was also named as a Baseball Factory Under Armor Pre-Season All American.

In addition to his athletic prowess, Trey carries a 4.2 GPA, taking all Honors classes and is a member of the National Honor Society. He lives in Bellevue with sister Megan, future Bulldogs Hayden, Myles, Preston and parents Tammy and Robbie.
