Drew had a great all around season for the Bulldogs in 2008, after missing the 2007 season due to injury. He hit .320, with eleven extra base hits (1 home run). He also hit two home runs in one game for the 2008 Bulldogs. Drew led the pitching staff in wins, with a 7-1 record and was second in innings pitched (45 1/3) and ERA (2.47). He also played flawless defense in the outfield.

Drew had an outstanding high school season for Brentwood Academy this spring, hitting .423 with 7 doubles and 3 home runs, while compiling a 2.67 ERA with a 4-5 record in nine starts on the mound as the Eagles won the TSSAA Division II championship. He was selected to the Division II Middle Tennessee All Region team and the TBCA Region 5-6 Showcase team. Drew lives in Brentwood with sister Hayley and parents Devin and Mark.
