Miles had another outstanding season for the Bulldogs in 2008. He hit .284, .370 slugging percentage, .404 OBP, with 4 doubles, and one home run. He also played great defense at shortstop and second base. Miles was 2-1 record on the mound with 31 strike outs in 37 1/3 innings, four saves and was 5th on the team in innings pitched. He had 2-2 record on the mound and a .353 regular season average at Ravenwood this spring, improving to .406 in post season play as the Raptors advanced to the state tournament. Miles was also selected to the TBCA Region 5-6 Showcase team. He is being pursued by several colleges in the southeast and is weighing his options. Miles lives in Brentwood.
