Parker joins the Bulldogs after playing his junior year on the Independence High School varsity baseball team. Eagles Head Coach Bill Moore says, “Parker is versatile enough to play either infield or outfield. He is a great team player who refuses to be out worked”. Parker finished the 2010 school season with a .313 batting average with a .421 on base percentage. Besides playing baseball, Parker enjoys watching any type of sporting event and is active in his church youth group participating in mission trips and serving as a camp counselor this summer at Camp Barnabas, a camp for special needs children in Purdy, Missouri. Parker lives with his parents, Terry and Bambi Hazard, in Thompson Station. |
