Chandler Named to All-Midstate Team

MLK/Brentwood Bulldog player Kyle Chandler was recently named one of the top 30 players in all of Middle Tennessee by the Tennessean newspaper and area Coaches! Congrats Kyle on your All-Midstate honors!

Bulldogs Welcome Jared Morris to the Team

The Bulldogs would like to welcome pitcher Jared Morris to the team. Jared is a recent graduate of White House-Heritage High School where he earned all-district honors his junior and senior year and all-county his sophmore year. This past spring, Jared had a 1.41 ERA with 117 K's in 64 innings and also hit .302 with 3 home-runs. Jared will be a great addition to the pitching rotation that has been depleted with injuries as of late.

Congrats to former Bulldog (2007-2009) Landon Snyder. Landon recently signed to play ball next season at Cleveland State. Great job Landon!

Former Bulldog Flippin to play at Augsburg College

Congrats to former Brentwood Bulldog (2009) Brandon Flippin. Brandon will be playing football and baseball next year for Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Augsburg is a NCAA DIII school playing in the MIAC conference. Congrats Brandon!

Congrats to Summertown/Brentwood Bulldog Jimbo Ramsey! Jimbo was named to the 12-A All-District team.

Tallent Earns All-District Honors

Congrats to Greenbrier/Brentwood Bulldog Eric Tallent. Eric was selected to the 9-AA all-district 2nd team. Eric ended his senior season hitting .333 for the Bobcats!

Ledbetter Earns All-District Honors

Congrats to Greenbrier/Brentwood Bulldog Cody Ledbetter. Cody was selected to the 9-AA All-District team for the 3rd year in a row. Cody finished the spring season hitting .380 and also pitched a perfect game during a district game. Congrats Cody!

Chandler Earns All-District Honors

Congrats to MLK/Brentwood Bulldog Kyle Chandler. Kyle was selected to the 10-AA all-district team for the 4th year in a row and named the district co-MVP. Through April, Kyle was hitting .537 with 4 home-runs and 27 stolen bases. Great job Kyle!

Congrats to Franklin High/Brentwood Bulldog Jesse Gavigan. Jesse earned all district honors for 11-AAA. He is having a great senior season with the Rebels hitting .478.

Former Bulldog Diffenderfer Signs with MSU

Congrats to former Bulldog (2007) TJ Diffenderfer. He recently signed to play ball for Minnesota State next year. MSU is currently ranked #19 amongst all NCAA D2 schools.

Perfect Game for Ledbetter!

Congrats to Greenbrier/Brentwood Bulldog pitcher Cody Ledbetter. Cody pitched a perfect game last night in a district game against Westmoreland striking out 18 of the 21 batters he faced!! Greenbrier/Brentwood Bulldog outfielder Eric Tallent also added a homerun for the Bobcats. Great job!!

Witherington Pitches No-No for MBA

Congrats to MBA/Brentwood Bulldog pitcher Aubrey Witherington! Aubrey pitched a no-hitter against Hunter's Lane on 3/31. He continued to dominate in his next outing pitching a 1 hit shut-out on 4/7 against Antioch.
